So we all have our areas of expertise and random bits of trivia. Might as well make a game out of it. XD
Okay, so Member A asks, "Did you know [whatever]?" Member B replies, "Yes/No." Then asks, "Did you know [something else]?" Member C says, "Yes/No." Then asks, "Did you know...?"
You get the idea. XD Try to be absolutely sure of your facts, so we're not spreading opinions, old myths, or common misconceptions, but obviously you're not gonna get in trouble over a game like this. So, did you guys know that teddy bears first popped up because Theodore Roosevelt famously refused to shoot a caged bear? =D

Yes I did.
Did you know that the reason blacks were the primary slaves was not because people were racist against them, but Africans themselves were the biggest exporter of slaves? The racism grew after.

No, I did not know that. xD
Did you know that Robespierre was the only man to be executed on the guillotine face upwards? He had a broken jaw during the time, and the executioner pulled off the bandages and caused Robespierre to scream in pain. So he died screaming, facing the blade that ended his life. *shudders*

Did you know that the Aztecs believed that if they did not sacrifice someone every single day, the sun would not rise?

Oh, wow. XD Nope, I didn't. Holy cow. Nice belief...
Did you know there's no such thing as communism? =3 What people call communism is really socialism. Every "communist" nation on earth has a dictatorship government, which makes them socialists, because in socialism, the government controls everything. And in communism, which Karl Marx called "the final stage of socialism", there is no government: it fades away and people run themselves in a perfect, classless society. But socialism's never gotten that far; so communism is but a theory. =D No country on earth is a communist country. Even the Soviet Union in the Cold War wasn't a communist bunch.

While the fact that there are no communist countries is true, that does not mean that communism does not exist - the ideal is still there. But I did know the rest of that, yes.
Did you know that Henry VIII had six wives, two of which he killed? And he made all of England Protestant just so he could divorce his first wife :3

*waves hand vaguely* Right, yes. XD I said it's a theory. Exists in people's heads.
And yep. Knew that. XD History's full of some real characters...
Didja know there are well over 500 different species of pokemon now? =D From 150, originally. *shakes head in amazement* Just goes on and on forever.

Uhm, no, I didn't XDD
Did you know that Jews were blamed for the Black Plague, so Christians would slaughter them?

Nope. What a lovely thing to do to them... *shudders in revulsion* Such hate in history. And current affairs. Which will soon enough be history. X3
Didja know there have only been, like, seven Medal of Honor recipients since the current wars started, and today the President awarded to one a living guy? The first guy to receive the medal while still alive since... the 1970s, I think. =3

No, I didn't know that. Huh.
Did you know that during the Crusades, poor Christian knights would borrow money from Jewish moneylenders and that when they couldn't repay them, they would simply kill the Jew they borrowed from?

Oh. No. Gosh. And people call the "Muslims" crazy for killing in the name of God... <___<'
Uh... did you know pig flesh is more similar to human flesh than any other kind is? =] That's why, when they were doing nuclear testing and stuff, they kept pigs in the nuclear zones, so they could see how the radiation affected them (and therefore, how it would affect humans). *shudders* Massive black lumps and growths hanging off the creatures... horrible, painful-looking stuff. *mock-glares at last year's U.S. history teacher* Showing us sick videos... XD

Ah, nope. XD Alexander the Great? Haha, wow. Cool.
Didja know a kid was once removed from his home because his family named him Adolph Hitler [insert surname here], and named their daughter after another less-than-revered historical figure? <___<' And I think there was a bit more to the 'grounds for removal' decision. Mr. Benson's not kidding when he says civil liberties like freedom of speech are relative, not absolute. Though burning the American flag is quite legal, though apparently offensive, so hey. XD
