Guilt tripping is an excellent tool in getting what you want! :D
I don't actually have homework today. Because I thought it was due today, so I did it yesterday. Isn't that amazing? :DDDD That is why I decided to post in our plot thread. xD Amazingly long post that took FOREVER to code correctly. xD

My friend Nusair sent me some simple but pretty Pakistani clothing, including two light shawls - one's pinky-purple and the other's a pretty light blue, and both are super soft and warm even though they're so thin. *happily draws blue one closer around shoulders* He's such a sweet goofball, mah buddy is. XD

I started playing Dragon Age 2 today. I decided to play as a guy for my first playthrough. As I'm playing, I finally come across the romance interest I had been intending to be with. So, naturally, I flirt with him. I later come across another romance interest, someone I had not been intending to be with, but I just couldn't help but flirt with him, too! It was awful. And I don't know what's going to happen when the two female love interests come along. Oh god, they're all going to hate me because I'll be flirting with all of them XDDD

...I see. Sounds like you're having fun, though. XD
Hmm... I'm going back to Sonoma on the 19th, in the morning. Will probably spend the day in that general area, it's prettier and more interesting than my lovely but, frankly, boring town. XD

I went skiing today. Most terrifying and amazing experience ever! My knees are killing me right now, but I had so much fun! It's nice to know that I'm FINALLY learning how to ski properly. xD

Skiing is fun! =D Way cool!
I'm in LA... again. XD Great Grandma's 100th birthday. But my great uncle's way more fun to hang out with. Vietnam War veteran with a great sense of humor, a iPhone that he can actually use, and a million jokes and stories to tell, all of which I never knew till today... I need to get to know the Mexican side of my family... XD

Pretty! =D
I... have basically decided on a college. *grins at Saphire, Echo, and Blue* Just call me 'stalker'. XD I jest; see, the college is small, pleasant, has good classes, and is more or less affordable; not just around the corner, but not too far from home and in very pretty country. Right by my aunt and uncle... and, well, you guys. XD
...Now I just need a driver's license and a car. XD

Next month is Hell month! I get to go to school six days every week and the sixth day will be completely dedicated to AP World. I will also have AT LEAST two hours worth of homework every single night! Just for AP World! YAY! It's called the Rapid Whapie Review! I am SO excited. -__-

Oh, gosh. 0__0' Is that legal?
I'm going to Sonoma State University. ^____^ Not especially prestigious, but every teacher I ask says, "Oh, good! That's a great school." And I like it myself, so hey. XD And with a Cal Grant covering the cost of the actual tuition, I'll really just be paying for supplies and on-campus residence (which actually comes to more than the classes themselves). XD

Oh, my mom went there! xD
And yes. That is legal. ANYWAYS. LAST NIGHT WAS AMAZING. I went to a Lady Gaga concert and it was SO intense! Seriously! We were in a HUGE arena, and there were so many lights, and it was beautiful. And she killed the fame monster. It was so intense.
Also, it was a very feel-good concert. She talked directly with a few people in the audience, even called one of them and had a conversation with him and then promised to take a picture with him after the show. I got confused as to what she was talking about sometimes, but it's all good! xD

Sweet! =D Never been to a real concert, need to do that one day...
Mah fact... uh... my arm is all swollen up. *stares at arm* Got four shots, two in each arm, and one of them gave me a fever and a red, swollen upper arm. It hurts. But I don't think it's serious, last time it happened it was way worse and the doctor took a thirty-second look and said, "...Ice it." XD

Swear to God, I'm dying to just drive ten minutes into Sacramento, storm up to the Capitol building, pound on the doors, and demand to speak with the top Republicans in the state government, whether or not they work in the building. The stupid, filthy swine are refusing to cooperate or even negotiate a compromise on the state budget, so what choice is the Governor left with? Fire my teachers! Let the school -which my brothers will a attend for the next decade- just fall apart.
Meanwhile, the Wisconsin governor, the rotten son of a three-legged dog, is cutting school funds by hundreds of millions. I don't understand why education is anywhere near the list of programs that'll take cuts in the first place, let alone one that they decide on. I mean, honestly. Fail/refuse to educate the kids, those kids won't find jobs, and unemployment rates'll stay bad. Duh. But no, they won't willingly pay taxes to educate even their own kids in public schools, let alone the rest of us - as if their taxes alone had to cover every kid's education! Do they think the state government pulls its funds out of thin air, or do they honestly think we'd be better off with private schools and home-schooling? ...Though frankly I don't give a damn exactly how their minds work: clearly they're flawed, so I just wish they'd work differently.
*exhales slowly* That's all my 'fact', I guess. Sorry about that. *glances around hopefully* My school's come up with a petition for us all to sign. Any Californians here up for actual student protests?
