My last day of school is June third. The only problem is that I'm helping at cub scout day camp the Monday-Thursday after that, and then I'm moving to New Mexico. The first month of summer is gonna by crazy busy for me.

My brother gets out the week before I do. My school started a week late because this is the first year.

Oh my freaking god, I don't think I've ever been this busy in my life. So many things have happened, and so much crap is going on, it makes me really sad that my internet life no longer exists. xD
One positive thing: I got my driver's license! So now I can legally drive up and stalk Fia for some weekend! :DDD

*cheers happily* Well done! ^____^ Come on over any time! Mind you, NEXT weekend, and the one after that, I won't be here - I'm going to Disneyworld, Florida, with my friend Bernice! =D For a week! Out of the blue invitation = "Sure!" at my house, apparently. XD We're a bizarre bunch.
Anyway. I am very excited to see part of this country that isn't Texas or California, much as I love the latter. XD

Hey! There's nothing wrong with Texas!
I have state pride.
Don't mess with Texas!

Dude, chill, I have no problem with Texas. I'm related to half of Texas. XD I just fear the South on principal: afraid I'll go down there one day, offend someone with my outspokenly liberal views, and be shot. Call me crazy if you will. Comes from growing up in a place where you absolutely could be shot any minute for saying the wrong thing (or wearing the wrong clothes, or talking to the wrong people, or walking into the wrong room, or...yeah). So... yeah. XD Little paranoid.
But I like Texas, my grandma's from Texas. San Antonio's a lovely place. ^____^' I just like the Golden State better... XD

Out of curiosity, did you grow up in a bad neighborhood?
Personally, Texas summers are getting too hot for me... Have we already had this conversation?

I grew up in the biggest, second-safest city in Pakistan. XD Lots of the locals, even in Karachi, don't like Chistian people with Californian mothers, western clothing, and no patience for their backwards culture (especially women), so we went around carefully watching what we said and did in stores and such, though malls and restaurants were pretty safe. The law there says that anyone who insults the Prophet Muhammad can be put to death. Fifteen years of that will teach anyone with any sense to be wary of insulting people with firearms. XD How I despise the Second Amendment... in fact, our Constitution irks me. Somehow we all have the fundamental human right to own a deadly weapon, but there is nothing in there stating that anyone has the right to marry whomever he/she chooses. Hmm. Logical. Restrict marriage but not instruments of death and destruction.
(This is why I am a Democrat/liberal/progressive/whatever people call us. XD)

We have the right to carry guns. However, some states require by law that a person have a liscence to do so, which can only be obtained after a certain age.
And America is still changing. The Constitution doesn't say we can't have same-gender marriges. That is said by states with people who are too narrow-minded and need to realize that this world is changing.

Right to carry guns indeed. Such a necessity in life, killing machines! Just like those state militias that protect us so actively from the evil federal government! (Can you tell I loathe the Second Amendment and firearms with every fiber of my being? -__-Thank God for those state laws that restrict the things. I don't give a damn who owns a gun so long as they keep the evil thing at home.) I know the Constitution, I've read it front to back countless times and debated its contents extensively, and my only real problem with it is that it isn't amended nearly as often as it should be, and covers barbaric topics like guns ane not enough real, important rights. Some state laws just need to be overruled and some topics need to be covered so there's no question about them (little things like, say, the evil that is capital punishment)...
So basically what annoys me is that laws don't change fast enough. And in the meantime, people suffer.
My actual fact about me here is that I think we'd best change the subject before I offend somebody with my fierce and partisan views on politics. XD I'll save that for political science discussions in college in a couple months.

I like the fact that Fia-chan has the sense to change the topic before she accidentally offends someone. I should go to sleep now, but I don't exactly want to...

I'm a socialist. Just realised that the other day, but yes, I am one. Also, I agree with everything you said, Fia. >__>
