A car speeds down the road, away from the cardboard box it has left behind it. A head pokes up timidly out of the box, eyes frightful and searching. The cat has just been abandoned by its owners, left to face with the harsh reality of the world. It is a stray now. But it is not alone. There are many cats who call the streets their home, who wander life living it one day at a time, seizing the day in carpe diem.
Enter the area of Nenbrook, where stray cats mingle, love, backstab, and hate. Emotions run high amidst those that have been cast out from society and no one can be sure who to trust. To a new stray it can be hard to take it, these veterans of the street life.
