 Ah yes, once upon a time we were all like that. Looking up at the stars and wondering if StarClan was looking down at us. The thought of our warrior ancestors protecting us, warning us through dangers through the medicine cat, life was grand...wasn't it? Well, no. The time came when StarClan no longer cared about the four mighty Clans of the forest, and they did nothing to warn us of the danger that would soon cease the land, that danger, being DarkClan. DarkClan is a group of cats that came from the Dark Forest and declared themselves as another ancestor Clan, one to oppose StarClan and their ways. They declared war against StarClan, and asked the Clans in the forest to follow them. RiskClan and HazardClan looked to the dark warriors for a new way, but ChanceClan and PerilClan stayed with StarClan, thinking they were going to prevail like always in their ways...they were wrong and it cost them everything.
RiskClan, HazardClan, and DarkClan won the greatest battle the forest had ever seen. The dark Clans killed off ChanceClan and PerilClan, not wanting anything left of StarClan to live on, but DarkClan saw the importance of having four Clan in the forest, and ordered the two Clans to make two others, based off their own principles. Thus, FranticClan of the moors and WrathClan of the oaken forest were made. DarkClan was their savior from the ways of StarClan, and now this forest is stained with blood, and yet it is just like what the revolutionary leaders of RiskClan and HazardClan wanted. DarkClan does not work like StarClan at all. There are no medicine cats, but rather healers who are warriors, but also gifted in the knowledge of herbs. DarkClan visits all cats except for elders and well, warriors die in battle more often for they never want to reach elder age when they have to still care for themselves, making these Clans all the more noble. Ah, yes. Life in the forest is thriving, but DarkClan isn't all bad...believe it or not but they try to help in heir more...subtle ways.
Yes, the mentioning of StarClan's name now is a way to get yourself killed, or at least driven out. These Clans do not like mentioning the old ways and don't want to poison the young minds about it, but there are a few ChanceClan and PerilClan descendants that have found their ways into the Clans. These cats have dedicated themselves to spreading the memories of their once great StarClan, even at the cost of their mind. They hope for a time when a young cat will rise up, remembering these stories and will fight for the good of StarClan so the starry warriors can come back to the forest once again to face this dark threat that has descended upon the forest and changed even the way the sun shines upon the land. There are other descendants who also live as rogues and loners and even kittypets, waiting until the day comes they can come back.
Oh, the rogues. Well, let's just say that there are a few ambitious rogues that are getting a little more ambitious since the rise of DarkClan. They want to become powerful as well, but in a different way. They are groups of rogues on different areas surrounding the Clans and live right next to a selective Clan. These groups of rogues act as the Mafia might in the cat world. They are dangerous, and often threaten the Clan they live by to do certain thing; giving up their kits, giving them prey in hardships, and even supplying them with herbs...but the Clans don't object. Why? Simply because these groups of rouges won't mind fighting with the Clan in times of war if the Clan ever needs their help. To any travelers, it might seem like a one-way trade, but it isn't.
