Once upon a time there was a cat by the ocean who decided that she was bored with her life—and quite lonely, since her humans abandoned her—so she traveled to the ever talked about Clans. Seeing that they lived so honorably and were spoken to be empathetic, she wondered if they would take her under their wing. Or, at least, she would glance upon their structured society just once. However, once she had traveled there she encountered a running tom from Clan territory. Stopping him in his tracks, despite his desire to flee, she demanded a story in pay for the meal she caught for him.

His name was Ravenwing, from Riverclan, and he had been exiled from his Clan for reasons unjustified (he had seen a warrior being attacked, on the other side of the border, by a badger. Being justice seeking, and generally sympathetic and moral, he went to help. Before he got there she was killed, but he chased off the badger anyway. A patrol came along, spotted him leaning over her dead body and declared him her murderer. Then ensued his departure from the Clan, exiled for, the ever supposed, murder of another Clan cat).

Deciding that she wanted to help him regain his place in his Clan, the traveler went off to find others to aid her in completing her goal. She stumbled upon Linus and Leapingpaw in Shadowclan, Wrenfall in Thunderclan, Harepaw in Windclan, and finally Spidercloud in Riverclan. Going back to Ravenwing, and finding that everyone but Spidercloud was there (because he was behind her), she declared that they were going to help him back into Riverclan. Spidercloud, however, was the one with the plann, and that was to attack Riverclan and drive them out.

Despite reluctance in Ravenwing’s area, it was decided that this would be their plan of action. Now, won’t this be interesting?
