The four clans of the lake-side, ThunderClan, RiverClan, WindClan and ShadowClan had always believed in their ancestors, in StarClan. The Warrior Code, The Full Moon Truce and the Peaceful Balance that all the clans lived in was something set by these cats long, long ago. Of course, it was no doubt that this belief would be passed down through the generations, forming the clans over and over again through the season. Of course, that was until the dogs came.

The clans were unprepared and torn apart, their warrior ancestors had failed to tell them of the danger that was coming and many cats were killed. This was the start of the downfall. Of course, the younger clan members were the ones to start the snowball rolling, in great horror and disgust, they at once took to the fact that what they had always been told about StarClan was a lie to get them to be loyal to their clans. The older members of the clans didn't believe this and instead focused on the idea that the stars hadn't seen that coming either.

When the dam broke and flooded RiverClan and most of WindClan's territory, this last string of hope was cut and every clan member had to face the terrifying fact that they were alone in this world. Most were clan born, therefore knew no other way of life and it was only because of this that RiverClan and WindClan, the two clans to begin the change remained together. Soon after ShadowClan followed suit as the warrior code begun to twist, with gatherings now becoming battles of words and eventually, claws.

Eventually all the clans turned their backs on their ancestors, believing now they were alone and only the stars were in the sky. This was two generations ago and now, seasons later, there still hasn't been news. With the clans fighting against each other constantly, borders more held that what should be happening, many lives have been lost. But what will happen when an elderly tom comes to the lake-side, claiming that he speaks with the lost StarClan?

All the clans are about to be thrown into a new world that was lost many seasons ago. How will they stand against the dark forces? Who are these rogues that are making there ways up through the ranks of the clans?

Where do the eight young warriors that have belief in starclan tie into the picture?
