Name: Lightningheart
Prefix Meaning: She was born a loner, and her parents took their time naming her. Eventually they decided on 'Lightning', because even as a kit, she was incredibly quick on her paws.
Suffix Meaning: She was given the warrior name Lightningheart for her shocking (as well as kind and brave) personality.
Age: 17 moons
Rank: Warrior
Gender: She-cat
Clan: MoonClan
Description: Lightningheart's fur is fairly short, and when it isn't covered in dust or mud or... something... from one of her little adventures, it's soft and smooth. When clean, it gleams brightly in the light, despite its dark, smoky-gray color. And it is absolutely gray. Not silver, even dark silver. Just gray. But while gray is generally considered a dull color, Lightningheart's pelt manages to be strangely vivid, standing out in a crowd just as a pure white or brilliant orange cat would. This strong, smooth shade covers almost her entire body, lightening very slightly on the back of each limb, on her lower legs, on her chest, and on her face. Her somehow-bright gray form is marked by distinct tabby stripes that streak down her sides, shoulders, and legs. Her tail is covered in rings, and a dark stripe runs all the way down the top, from her spine to the very tip.
Lightningheart is slightly on the small side, but not noticeably so. She has a light build, but it's all lean muscle. Lightningheart is fast... very fast. This speed-demon lives up to her name and never lets any cat forget it, with the way she darts around all over the place. While she is nearly impossible to catch, being as agile as she is quick, Lightningheart does not lack physical strength. Her energy is all but boundless, and with all the running-around she does, her limbs are remarkably strong. So while she doesn't look particularly powerful, she's capable of knocking a cat unconscious with a good blow to the head from one of her paws. Her eyes are a deep shade of amber, nearly always bright and sparkling with playfulness and good-natured humor.
Personality: Overall, Lightningheart is a happy, cheerful young cat. She loves nothing better than goofing around and looking for some kind of adventure. With her lively sense of humor, she can find the good in just about anything or anyone that catches her interest; she always looks at the bowl half-full, never half-empty. Easily entertained and endlessly curious, Lightningheart seems, for the most part, to be remarkably simpleminded, like an apprentice in a warrior's body. But it's only a facade- the way she prefers to appear and behave. In truth, she's a very intelligent cat, despite her genuinely short attention span and general lack of perceptiveness. What she notices, she remembers with impressive clarity. When she can be bothered to focus, she's clever and quick-thinking, but very spontaneous, rarely thinking things through. This often leads her into trouble, but her aforementioned quick-thinking usually gets her out again.
Lightningheart tends to painfully blunt -if you're an idiot or a pain, she'll let you know- but she is slowly learning to be relatively tactful. Her sense of justice is incredibly powerful, and she hates to be -or even just feel- useless in any situation. She's also a bit of a rebel; if she feels something is right, she'll stick with it, warrior code or no warrior code. Courage is one of her greatest strengths; it takes a lot to frighten her, and even when something does, she can usually overcome her fear. Loyalty is another big part of her; but it's more complicated than simple Clan loyalty. She's eternally devoted to anyone she considers a friend, regardless of Clan rivalries. She'll lash out at any cat who says a words or raises a claw against any cat she cares for. She'd defy any Clan leader in defense of her friends- even Dragonstar, if she had to. Her level of self-confidence is just about sky-high: it's virtually impossible convince this stubborn young cat that there's something she can't do if she tries hard enough. While she's happy to associate with cats from other Clans, Lightningheart is fiercely loyal to her Clan, and her pride in being a MoonClan warrior knows no bounds.
History: A runaway! Born to a pair of loners, with one sibling, her life (at the edge of the forest with her family and her best friend's family, who lived nearby) was pretty simple. Too simple for her liking. Her parents made the mistake of telling little Lightning tales of the Clans. Needless to say, the adventure-loving kit was excited by the stories. It was hard to convince her more sensible partner-in-crime to come with her to find the Clan cats. In the end, he only agreed to come because he could tell he couldn't stop her, and he wouldn't let her go alone. In any case, the duo had an easy time slipping away. They had a harder time convincing the MoonClan patrol that caught them that they weren't spies. After a good deal of explaining, they were both taken on as apprentices.
Lightning, now called Lightningpaw, trained... enthusiastically... and made fairly quick -though not-so-steady- progress. Perhaps the only reason she made any progress at all was the fact that she was completely in awe of her mentor, Dragonstar, and determined to make him proud. But hey, whatever worked, right? Making a new friend in her fellow apprentice Dovepaw just made her more sure she belonged in MoonClan.
Time flew- Lightningpaw and her two friends earned the title of warrior together. Lightningheart, as the proud young warrior is now called, hasn't changed much. Sure, she doesn't get hyped up over every little thing anymore... but she's still over-enthusiastic, still overly curious, still reckless and adventurous, and still impulsive and fiercely loyal to her friends. Hey, some things never change.

In trouble again! The young apprentice let out a sigh, gazing dully at a pile of moss she was supposed to be taking to the elders. Her ears twitched irritably as she glared at it. And for what?! She hadn't done anything so horrible! Was it really such a crime, leaving camp without permission?
"This is going to take all day," she hissed, tail lashing in her annoyance. Of course, there was no one around to hear her. She was just outside camp, close enough to go back and forth without a warrior for 'protection'. The gray tabby snorted at that though. Protection? Who said she needed to be protected? She could take care of herself! Her tail lashed again and her claws flexed on the earth as if she was staring at an invisible challenger. Her eyes were amber fire as she swiped her paw at the moss, sending a clump of it flying. The young cat glared after it, then stood up and trotted over, picking up the soft stuff and dumping it back on her pile. She spat out bits that clung to her teeth, using more vehemence than necessary, angry as she was. A loud yowl from the camp reminded her that she'd better get a move on.
"Mouse dung," she snarled, snatching up a mouthful of moss and racing off with the startling speed that gave the apprentice her name.
