Laughing at the tom's awkwardness, Soundstar lowered his eyes slightly to his level and stared at the blue orbs. His green eyes sparkled with amusement.
"No problem kid, glad to help. D-dawg and I are like best buds," he mused (obviously referring to Dragonstar), ruffling Woodpelt's ginger hair slightly. "He would kill me if he found out that I stood by and watched as his little kittens fell off railings." Straightening, he looked around with alert ears as something echoed off in the distance on their level. It sounded like annoyed growling. Raising a delicate eyebrow, he looked toward the MoonClanner before starting off in the direction of the noise. "You coming?" he cast a questioning look over his shoulder at Woodpelt.

Despite his best efforts to stay properly respectful, Woodpelt found himself relaxing slightly in Soundstar's presence. The SunClan leader just had such an air of being so... so easy to be around. He reminded Woodpelt of Lightningheart, and that alone was enough to put him more at ease. Still, he only managed a small, shy smile when the older tom ruffled his hair.
"Oh," he managed, deciding not to comment on the 'little kittens' remark.
D-dawg? he wondered vaguely, not sure that it was entirely proper of Soundstar but unwilling to protest, in case the two leaders really were good friends.
The faint sound reached his own ears a moment after it caught Soundstar's attention. Puzzled, he stood listening intently and only snapped back to attention when the SunClan cat addressed him again.
"Coming," he affirmed quickly, hurrying after the brighter-orange tom, careful to keep a pace or two behind him. But he was worried now. Maybe his ears were playing tricks on his anxious mind, but he could've sworn the noise he'd heard was... extremely familiar. But that made no sense. He wasn't even sure what he'd heard. But he trailed meekly behind the SunClan leader, glad for the company of a non-hostile warrior.

Silkstream looked back up at the strange guy who was apologizing. Miss? Who is this fop? Silkstream hesitantly took the hand that was offered to her. She stood up awkwardly. Thank you. Silkstream mumbled. Who was this guy? Why wasn't he attacking her? I've never seen you before...what Clan are you from? Silkstream asked as she looked around for her trashcan lid. Could she break the glass wall with the lid if he tried to-Silkstream's thought was cut short as her head slowly turned toward the window. Why was Woodpelt dangling from the balcony?! Silkstream squished her face against the glass, trying to get a better look.
"Woodpelt!" Silkstream shouted. She breathed a sigh of releif as Soundstar came to the rescue. Hurry up and help him already! Silkstream screamed franticly, banging on the glass. She forgot all about her companion standing behind her. He probably thought it was strange that Silkstream cared so much about someone who wasn't even in her clan.... Littlestone narrowed his blue eyes. There they were, Soundstar and that Moonclan tabby. So that's why Soundstar helped him. he thought as the Sunclan leader mentioned his connection to Moonclan's leader, Dragonstar. He was standing inside a security station, out of sight. Lights flashed everywhere as the video tapes showed the current situations. He didn't pay any attention to them, focusing on the conversation outside. Behind him, a screen showed a cat trapped in a cage, another showed two more trapped in the elevator. He'd been able to sneak upstairs, but had they heard him? Littlestone remembered his growl a minute ago, had they heard that? He decided to confront them, and see how they would react. Putting on a mall cop uniform and grabbing a donut, he stepped out of the station. He kept his hand in his pocket, squeezed tight around a makeshift smoke ball, as he yelled a greeting to the two cats. "There a problem here?"

"Why, no, there isn't, officer!"
The loud, half-mocking yowl didn't come from the startled, bewildered Woodpelt. Rather, it sounded out from a good fifty or so feet away from Littlestone, so that the DayClan cat now stood between the other two toms and the newcomer, who had appeared apparently out of nowhere while the DayClan warrior had been occupied with disguising himself. In reality, she had spotted Woodpelt hanging off the fourth floor and, after recovering from a near heart attack, rushed up the stairs, only to find her friend safe and the familiar-looking 'mall cop' shouting at him.
Seemed like he could use some rescuing after all.
Lightningheart tipped her head to one side and grinned, feet apart, one hand at her waist, the other dangling the pathetic, soggy remains of a mostly-eaten ice cream cone tauntingly in front if her.
"I did find this little piece of stolen property, though," she added inoocently, despite the wicked sparkle in her eyes. "Thought I'd best hand it over so you could get it back to its rightful owner. Here you go, catch- woops!"
With a little yelp of mock-horror, she flicked her wrist and sent the mangled little stub of cone flying over the rail that Woodpelt had nearly tumbled over, just minutes before.
"Must've slipped," she remarked with a shrug.
Then she winked at Woodpelt and Soundstar, stuck out her tongue at Littlestone, and whipped around to speed off toward the stairs, pausing at the bottom of them to see if the DayClan warrior was following. She only stopped for a moment, though, before bounding up the steps to the fifth floor and racing off to find a suitable hiding spot. If the black and white tom was following her, well and good. If not, oh well. Woodpelt and Soundstar could look after themselves. All she'd really wanted to do was tick off the little guy some more.
She only wished she'd been able to snag his donut, too.

"Why, no, there isn't, officer!"
Littlestone narrowed his eyes. He knew that voice. He whipped around to see the tabby she-cat, tipping her head to one side and grinninng, one hand dangling the remains of a mostly-eaten ice cream cone. His ice cream.
"I did find this little piece of stolen property, though," Littlestone parted his lips in the beginning of a snarl. He reached for the cone, but she threw it over the railing. "Thought I'd best hand it over so you could get it back to its rightful owner. Here you go, catch- woops!"
"Must've slipped"
Littlestone watched her speed away, he knew he wouldn't be able to catch her. He turned back to the two cats. "Do either of you know that dilenquent?" he asked, trying hard to contain his rage.
