Rules (MUST READ)

Welcome to Member Battles! Here you may apply to join a group or, if you fit the requirements, create a group of your own to control and power toward victory! There are a couple of rules to be followed and they are stated below, so make sure to read them before you do anything else!

Joining and Group Dynamics

XX. Remember that this is, above all, a game that should not be taken too seriously as it might lead to some real member dispute. That is not our goal; we merely want to provide a fun way to put our member’s skills to use through some friendly competition.
XX. To apply to a group you must strictly follow their application code which should be found on the main page in the ‘Members Battles’ board. If it is not there then PM the leader of the group and acquire the form that way. Remember, Group Leaders are allowed to both accept and decline any applications on any terms, so don’t be upset if you are not accepted into a group.
XX. Once you are accepted, you will receive a password that will allow you access to your group’s board. It is very IMPORTANT to keep this password a secret since we don’t want other group members spying on your group.
XX. Your Group Leaders will post information in your Group Board about a variety of things, including rebellions, planned attacks, in character plots for your cats, etc. Remember to check back there often to see if there are any updates.
XX. There may be a battle posted at any time, and make sure to consult with your group before you dive into the post as there might be a required skill needed to complete the battle. We wouldn’t want an excellent writer to jump into a graphics battle and ruin the Groups chances of winning, now would we?

Battles

XX. Any member may post a battle as long as they use the correct form and it is accepted by a staff member.
XX. Battles must make sense and must have some sort of competitive feel to it so that it’ll be fun and challenging to complete. Be creative; you can, for example, use your graphic request as a battle. Perhaps you could even turn a question about homework into a small battle? If you want help on coming up with a battle, there are most likely plenty of other members who would be happy to help you!
XX. There are two judges for each battle; the Original Poster and another member that the original poster chooses her/himself. Please judge fairly, and don’t pick an entry just because the creator is from your own Member Group. Remember that the winner should have won fairly with good quality and a creative entry.
XX. Once a battle is posted, Group Members must collaborate in their Member Groups on who is going to participate in the battle. There is an exception if the required people for the battle is 'unlimited' as then it doesn't matter who joins.
XX. Staff members are always moderating battles and are ready to step in as soon as they see trouble or an unfair challenge. They’re also there to answer any questions you might have, so don’t hesitate to ask.

Creating a Member Group

XX. To create your own Member Group you need to have at least 200 posts and you need have been a member on Silver Warriors for six months. We know that these requirements are strict, but it is a privilege to be the Leader of a group and it is only reserved for those who are truly active and participate in Silver Warriors on daily basis.
XX. To create your own Member Group, fill out the necessary form (located here) and PM it to me, Saphire. Yes, you will have to put your requested password in the form, and I know that I’m the leader of a rival group, but I swear on Stargate that I would never spy on your group in any way. I am the only person you should reveal your password to besides the members in your group.
XX. Once you have created your Member Group, you are free to post whatever you want inside of your Member Group Board as long as it follows Silver Warrior’s rules and the rules posted here. (Silver Warriors Main Rules are located here)
XX. After you have created your Member Group and posted whatever you want in your board, you need to create an advertising thread in the main board. This is where you try to attract members to join your group by explaining your goal with your group and what Members can expect if they join. This is also where you include the form that members fill out if they want to join your group. You can decide on everything that is stated in this post, but it is a requirement to include the form.
XX. Once you have accepted a member into your group, remember to give them their password and allow them access to their Member Board!
