I really don't have to introduce myself, but this particular post is about one of the two RP sites I own, so eh. Warriors: Rise of the Mage, or W:ROTM, is based almost completely and totally around the use of magic, and, even better, EVERYONE can use it! However, quite a few things changed. For example, there is no more Moonstone, but there is, however, something known as the Lifegiver Tree. Leaders (or Monarchs, as they are called on-site) must go through a ritual in their camp to gain their nine lives. Another example of a BIG change is the fact that Medicine Cats are now Healers, and use Healing Magic and Alchemy (mixing herbs and spices to make faster-working remedies for things like sickness and disease). Also, there are no Twolegs anymore, because this RP is set on the world of Caligus, which is also an alternate to Earth. There are no cities, no guns, no technology, only cats in the wilderness and magic powers. Also, Monarchs (Leaders) get special "Leader Abilities" that only they can use (unless bought as an extra with Mystic Tokens, the currency of the forum). Said abilities are unique to the leader, and completely player-made (as long as an Admin OK's it, of course).
Changed Ranks:
Warriors/Warriors: Rise of the Mage
Leader ~ Monarch
Deputy ~ Arch-Mage
Lead Warrior (if you guys use them o.o) ~ Head Mage
Medicine Cat ~ Healer
Warrior ~ Full Mage
As well as having Main and Secondary elements (which you can see if you join up!), there are Forbidden Elements, which CAN be bought for use in the Extras store, but for a pretty hefty price! They are:
Space (The control of reality itself. User is able to create rips in space, teleport, etc.)
Time (Time-travelling, really, or pausing time. Complete and utter control over time.)
Draco-Mancing (User is capable of summoning dragons (which are SACRED beasts in the site); must be skilled to actually tame and keep the dragon.)
Demonic (User is able to summon a Dark Forest cat in physical form for aid in battle.)
Holy (User is able to summon a StarClan cat in physical form for aid in a battle.)
Peace (User is able to create calmness around them, even in the midst of a battle.)
Chaos (User is able to create the need for bloodshed and death in the cats around them. This is a good morale booster in the midst of a battle.)
